BCH next to exhibit at Propak Africa

The BCH team are back to business after a busy and successful week at Prosweets in Cologne, where we met with lots of existing and potential customers from all over the world.  It has been wonderful to be able to participate in these exhibitions once again, and there is nothing like helping customers with their enquiries and processing challenges face to face.

The next stop for us will be the Propak Africa expo hosted by our South African agents Courlanders Ltd, alongside their principals in the same industry sector. Propak Africa will take place on the 8th – 11th March 2022 at Johannesburg Expo Centre, bringing together suppliers of Packaging, Processing, Printing and Plastics solutions for the Food and Beverage manufacturing industry.

Representing BCH is our Confectionery specialist Lee Fish who will be on hand to answer all your Food and Confectionery processing questions, we will also be showcasing some samples of what our equipment can produce!

Interpack Postponement (COVID-19)

Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, Messe Düsseldorf is postponing the leading international trade fair – Interpack. It will now take place from 25 February to 3 March 2021.

We are closely monitoring the developments of the Novel Coronavirus. The health and safety of our colleagues and customers is of top priority.  We reassure our customers that while we are monitoring the situation and staying up to date on official sources of guidance from the government and authorities, business is continuing as much as is possible.  We will continue assisting our customers with vital spares and service to ensure our food and drink industry is supported at this difficult time.

Final Day at Prosweets!

Lots of activity for the team today!

Interviews on the stand and more enquiries from New Zealand, right across the globe to the West Coast of the USA mean we are looking forward to a busy period ahead.

We also have our Food Technologist Matilda Cox with us who is here with us for the first time and is enjoying visiting some of the many seminars to gain the latest insights from our customers and their suppliers, as well as visiting our customers in the ISM halls.

Deal done!

The team are very pleased to announce that they have reached an agreement during the Prosweets show to supply a multicolour extrusion line to a leading international confectionery manufacturer!

The customer will be capable of producing a wide range of singe, multicolour, co-extruded and sugar sanded products in a wide variety of formats using the BCH independent cooking and extrusion process which delivers the widest range of taste and texture profiles.

They are still very busy dealing with enquiries from worldwide sources and will be available again tomorrow until 6pm, so head on down to discuss your process needs.

100 days until Interpack!

Just 100 days to go before we will see you at the Interpack Exhibition 2020 in Dusseldorf, Germany. Running from the 7th – 13th March, this will be a jam-packed 7-day show, where we will be meeting customers and visitors from over 150 countries.

BCH are Exhibiting at Prosweets 2020

Back at Prosweets 2020, Cologne for another year, we will be Exhibiting our Viscotator – a continuous cooker which offers our customers the most flexible solution versus other cookerextruder technology, with wider opportunities to create improved taste and texture profiles. Furthermore, this technology also offers a significant reduction in operating and maintenance cost by using steam heating instead of electricity for the cooking process,  along with reduced wear and tear of the machine due to the gentler heating method.

BCH secure contract during Gulfood!

We are pleased to announce that the team secured a contract yesterday for one of our 100% Fruit Extrusion Lines!

The line will provide our international client with the Maxivap Evaporation system at the core of the process along with additional process equipment for feeding, extruding, plus dosing colours and flavours that allow for the production of fruit snacks that can be 100% organic, gluten free  with all natural colour and flavours.

Not to mention one of your recommended 5 a day!

Gulfood Manufacturing – Day 2

Day 2 has kicked off at Gulfood Manufacturing with an even busier start than yesterday. We have been overwhelmed with enquiries for liquorice processing and hummus production, as well as big interest in our Orbiter Kettle, pressure cooking and vacuum cooling systems.

Many congratulations to our partners DC Norris & Company for winning the ‘Most innovative Processing System’ at the Gulfood Excellence Awards last night.
