ProSweets Round-Up

The BCH Viscotator proved very popular at the recent ProSweets exhibition, with manufacturers keen to explore the distinct advantages a separate cooking and extrusion process can provide.   Our system offers customers an improved solution from a traditional cooker extruder, with better taste and texture and also a significant reduction in operating cost by using steam instead of electricity for the cooking process.

Equally, the Sugar Paste Manufacturing centre with on-board mucilage vessel and control system allowed visitors the opportunity to realise the benefits a BCH solution can offer.

The team are very busy following up the leads after the extremely successful show with a record number of visitors to the stand.  We had lots of existing clients coming to see us with enquiries for new systems and process upgrades, as well as many new contacts from across the globe.

Not long now until we are at the Expo Centre Nasrec, Johannesburg, South Africa for the Propak exhibition that runs from the 12th to the 15th March. We will be on hand to discuss our wide range of solutions for both the Food and Confectionery manufacturing sectors.

Training

Completed Education and Training

A number of staff members have recently completed some of their education and training.

Luke Hesketh in the design department gained an Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Engineering Technical Support and a BTEC Level4 HNC diploma in Manufacturing Engineering with Distiction.

Matthew Baker in the fitting department gained a BTEC Level 4 HNC Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering with Distinction.

Michael Whitehead in the service department gained a First Class Honours degree in Mechatronics.

Stuart Grogan our Operations Director gained a First Class Honours degree in Business Management.
